Trail Overview
Ridge 6260 is a one-lane gravel road with grass overgrowing into the road. It is uneven with lots of potholes and dips and the road ends abruptly due to overgrowth with no turn around. There is a sign ahead of the closure that states Road Closed 500ft and the nearest turnaround is to the right before the road closed sign. This is a very wooded trail with lots of ferns and vegetation and a few areas that open up to muskeg. There are a few areas to pull over for a vehicle to pass and one area that could be used to vehicle camp. This is a steeper road with a couple of muddy sections. There is a nice Creek. Be careful of traplines if you venture off the road or near the creek. This road closes due to overgrowth and could be reopened doubling its length. There is wildlife on this road. Be Bear safety-minded and watch for deer and porcupines. This is a down-and-back road.
