Trail Overview
Turkey Trail is a dirt and red-clay backroad winding through the wooded countryside near Reeltown, Alabama. The route features rolling terrain, occasional ruts, small muddy sections, and a mix of hard-packed clay and gravel. Conditions are generally suitable for most vehicles when dry, although the clay surface and existing erosion can become slick and more difficult following heavy rain. The trail passes through a quiet, heavily wooded area and makes a good addition to the network of backroads around Buck Creek. Drivers should watch for changing road conditions, particularly after storms, when ruts and muddy areas may become deeper.
