Trail Overview
Trail 313 is a mostly wet trail featuring numerous deep water and mud holes. Tight trees and soft, slick ground make it both fun and challenging to navigate. The trail begins on Trail 300, directly across from the entrance to Trail 300A, it crosses over trail 302 and there is a creek crossing.
Difficulty
Trail 313 is rated Level 5 primarily due to its consistently wet conditions and challenging terrain. The trail starts with a creek crossing and continues through numerous mud holes and water crossings, which can become deep and difficult to navigate, especially after rainfall. The combination of tight trees, soft ground, and deep ruts requires careful vehicle placement, and recovery gear is strongly recommended. Due to the risk of getting stuck or encountering impassable sections, it is not advised to run this trail after significant rain events, as water levels and mud depth can increase quickly and dramatically.
