Trail Overview

This off-road trail begins where the San Fernando to Sleeping Bag Trail takes its first right turn south, but instead of turning, it continues straight onto this relatively easy route. The trail features a few mild ruts and gentle ups and downs, making for a straightforward journey. It winds through the scenic desert, passing by ranches and farms before ending on a graded, slightly washboard road that leads back toward town, eventually reconnecting with the San Fernando to Sleeping Bag Trail. Along the way, you'll enjoy sweeping desert landscapes, vibrant desert vegetation, and occasional sightings of wildlife like lizards, rabbits, and roadrunners.
