San Juanico La Purisima Access Loop

This loop offers convenient access to the trail connecting San Juanico and La Purisima, whether approaching from the north or south. It's a relatively easy route suitable for any 2WD vehicle with decent ground clearance. The trail begins with a gentle incline on mostly dirt terrain, with a light sand overlay in places. The first half winds through areas that appear to have been old quarries, possibly for cement. Midway, you'll find a couple of good camping spots before reaching an optional right turn leading to La Purisima. Continuing forward, the loop traverses a long, flat section before descending back to Highway 1, offering scenic views of the ocean and nearby inlets along the way.
