Trail Overview

This sand and rock trail takes you through the back dirt streets of Mulege, then through a wash and up to a stunning cliff overlook above the Sea of Cortez. It offers 270-degree views of the water and coastline. The first section is mostly dirt. Then it turns into sand. The section near the end is very challenging. It climbs up the trail with off-camber, deep, articulating sand and rock areas. High clearance 4x4 is needed. Then it is all rock, which can be slippery when wet.
