High Road Ejido Meliton

This off-road route begins near the boundary of Los Inocentes Ranch and leads to Ejido Meliton, offering a well-graded path primarily serving a handful of small cattle ranches. Suitable for any 2WD vehicle with good ground clearance, the road includes a few brief descents into washes and arroyos but remains accessible. Along the way, travelers are treated to a picturesque journey through a dense El Cardon cactus forest, eventually arriving at a quaint village just two miles from the ocean. While the town features a tortilla shop that may or may not be open, as well as a couple of small tiendas and beer stores for supplies, there are no taco stands or restaurants unless visiting on a weekend.
