Uh Oh No Go

We were leaving Christie Falls and decided to try a different way back down to West Side Road and followed the Christie Terrace FSR to go home. Unfortunately, the road has been decommissioned at about 3.9KM past the Christie Lake turnoff. We believe this was due to the White Lake Fire of 2021 which torched over 86,000 hectares and then was followed by a slide in the fall of 2021. The FSR network is intertwined throughout this area where the fire was and we believe this is why the road is closed and dug out. The road to that point was heavy potholes. In rain the road in some areas would be quite muddy so please tread lightly. Best traveled in a vehicle with some clearance.
