Sunset Road

Similar to a number of the backroads in the area, these roads are predominantly developed for oil and gas. The roads have washboards throughout and are firm. However, with rain, they become very damaged, rutted, and slippery. An SUV or car on these roads is not recommended; when wet, ruts can be up to 2 feet deep in some locations. There's great access to ATV trails and it's a prime hunting location for elk, moose, and deer. There's a lot of wildlife and bear activity in the area as well.
