The final descent leads to the Rec campsite and hot springs area, a serene oasis in the forest. The naturally heated pools of Sloquet Hot Springs are a perfect way to unwind after the day's drive, offering warm, therapeutic waters beside the rushing sound of Sloquet Creek.
Difficulty
The road to Sloquet Hot Springs follows a typical Forest Service Road (FSR). However, after the 50km mark, the terrain becomes significantly more challenging. Expect steep climbs, potential washouts, and running water crossings. A vehicle with high ground clearance is essential to navigate unpredictable washout areas safely. After tackling approximately 25km of this rugged terrain, the road levels out and becomes much smoother, making the final stretch more enjoyable.
