Trail Overview

This is a fun road over the mountain from Beaverdell, BC, to the Christian Valley and Kettle River. Lots of epic views and really cool in the fall with all the changing leaves. The road is pretty basic for the most part and is a well-maintained logging road. There are some narrow sections and steep switchbacks when you drop down into the valley. But also - incredible views of the valley

Pretty easy overall but will be dangerous in the winter, especially descending down into the valley - you would want chains

2010 Volvo XC70

Temporarily Closed

Trail is in beautiful condition. I went with my completely stock Volvo XC70. There is some active logging happening right now with posted signage prohibiting entry in one small section. I went through on a Sunday early morning when nobody was around, but I wouldn’t recommend doing that.
