Trail Overview

Starting at 10km down the Gold Creek Forest Service Road, make a left turn onto the spur road, this road starts off as an unmaintained gravel road. The road starts to gain elevation and starts to become narrow in sections. expect a few shelf sections with the potential of rock slides. There are some tight switchbacks with deep ruts and loose rock. Fallen trees across the trail are common so come prepared. The views are amazing, a high-clearance vehicle is recommended.

Trail was well maintained until the climb starts up to Mount Baker. Trail to Mount Baker was a rocky shelf road with steep switch backs in some spots. Only minimal puddles due to recent rainfall.
