Moore Lake Rec site (from Posthill)

This scenic 1.2-mile spur branches off the Postill Lake Forest Service Road near Kelowna, climbing 230 feet through dense forest to a rustic lakeside campground. Ideal for high-clearance vehicles and OHVs, the dirt and gravel route is tighter than the main road, with brush that may scratch wider vehicles. Snow often lingers into May, blocking early-season access. The final approach to the Moore Lake Recreation Site becomes a muddy, heavily rutted track requiring high clearance. The recreation site features primitive campsites and a small boat launch. Visitors must be self-sufficient as there are no services, and should watch for active logging trucks on the main FSR.
