Trail Overview

This trail is mostly gravel with rocky sections. It does get narrow in spots, and it takes you on a breathtaking shelf road with amazing views of the valley below, ending at an old abandoned mine with equipment still standing. This trail can be traveled from spring to late fall depending on early season snow levels. This is also a great hiking adventure.

Downed tree about a couple hundred meters from the bottom of the trail after the sharp right drop down. Wouldn’t recommend going past the drop as you can only back out

End of trail has major rock slide, area at the end of the trail to park is no longer accessible, one very small area to turn around at just before the slide, would recommend parking at pull off just before you get to the slide area look for a small fire ring on right area to park at least 3 vehicles, popular hiking destination please be courteous to hikers on the trail.
