Trail Overview

Joining the top of Mount Lolo and Heffley Lake, this route gets quite spicy. This trail features many steep climbs and descents with loose rock and small ledges in the upper elevation. The lower section closer to Heffley gets sandier and, if there has been recent rain, muddier. There is a small creek crossing with a fairly steep, slick climb out on both sides just outside of Heffley Lake. Ridden on full-size ADV bikes, wouldn't recommend larger than a Jeep-size rig that you are ok with getting pin stripes on.
