Deer Lake Viewpoint

This trail is a short spur road off Ruby Forest Service Road. The surface is a combination of gravel, dirt, and some loose rocks. It is steep in sections with some washboarding and sharp rocks. The trail is an out-and-back with a few viewpoints and some clearings that could be used for camping. There is a view of Deer Lake from the highest hill. There is also a fun, steep, loose, rocky hill that leads to a loop in a grassy area with additional campsites.
