There is active logging off the main trail part way up. So operate accordingly. Amazing views and scenes throughout the climb, dry dusty trail with loose rocks. I would recommend AWD or 4x4, and at least the clearance of a Forester. There are over grow areas so expect to get some bush-burn on your truck. The trail is a mix of wide areas where passing is possible, and narrow areas on steep slops, take note of your turn arounds.

Access Description

There are no fees or permits required to drive Blanket Creek Road, which is a public forest service road. However, standard British Columbia resource road safety guidelines apply, including yielding to loaded logging trucks and using a two-way radio if active hauling is occurring. Campgrounds within Blanket Creek Provincial Park require reservations during the peak season.
