Bowman FSR - Joss Mountain

Bowman FSR is found at the 6km mark of the War Lake FSR. You climb quickly from about 550M to almost 1600m in a very short period of time. The road is a mix of dirt, some gravel, and lose golfball size rocks. Many switchbacks to navigate your way up to some amazing views of the mountains. At the top we camped near the trail head for the Joss Mountain Trail. This trail take you on a 9.5km hike through the mountain alpine. It is rated as a difficult trail and takes all day. I looked at the trail map and also see you could do a longer hike over to sugar mountain.
