Trail Overview

This route leads you along a bumpy logging road that takes you up a mountain to a beautiful campsite/viewpoint that overlooks First Lake and Mount DeCosmos. On clear days, you can see many mountains in the Beaufort range, including Mount Arrowsmith and Mount Moriarity. The last 500 or so feet of the trail turn into rough, sharp blast rock, so be careful and keep your eyes peeled for rocks that will slice your tires.

Difficulty

This is a fairly easy route but in the winters the hills can freeze solid and prove to be very slippery so you must use caution.
