Trail Overview

The Ghost Town of Lille, with multiple ruins, can be visited by this multi-use trail system. Only off-highway vehicles are permitted with hikers. Some of the hiking trails merge in & out of the ATV trail, so please be courteous. You will encounter one loose rock climb, as well as a few bridges. This trail was ridden with ADV Motorcycles. This unmaintained dirt and rocky road includes several bridges over shallow water crossings and obstacles under 12 inches, such as small ledges. The trail varies between one and two vehicles wide.

History

Lille is a ghost town in southwestern Alberta, Canada, located in the Crowsnest Pass area, specifically northeast of Blairmore. It was once a bustling coal mining town, but it was abandoned in 1912.
