Trail 9 is a long trail with multiple sections. It is a green trail and is a stock-friendly trail. It has elevation changes, small rocks, puddles, and a nice mix of open and wooded areas. This is also a great way to get from one end to the other on the east side.

Trail 1 goes north and south of the main road. To get to the Portal Trail, you will take trail 1 to the north. Taking 1 to the south will lead you up a rocky hill to access many trails on that side of the coal road. To the north, it passes the office and the campground heading along other trails.

What was a dead-end trail has become a loop trail. This is a nice wooded trail with big trees and small rocks. It's passable with a long-wheelbase SxS with ease. There aren't many obstacles except the small rocks, a few tree roots, and some shallow puddles.

Most ATV trails are very similar, but not this one. This is a really fun trail with hills and rocks to start either end. In the middle, there are twisty off-camber spots and rock gardens mixed in. It is a challenging trail but can still be ridden by a new rider.

Trail 3 starts in the valley with a series of looped sections. Then it goes down to the Big Mountain area, working its way through some old mining areas. Add in the Tunnel of Love section up to the top of the hill and work your way to trail 6. It has some small rocks but nothing crazy.

This series of ATV trails makes a nice group of trails. These trails are full of puddles and twisty tree sections to work through carefully. There are no major obstacles, just some moderate puddles and some small rocks.

Trail 2 is a series of loops spread out over a decent-sized area. The trails are stock vehicle-friendly but have some spots that will need caution. Expect small rocks, hills, twists, and tight turns. There is a nice view at certain times of the year.

Taking this ATV trail bypasses part of trail 7. It can be combined with the other ATV trails in the area and made into a nice long route staying off the main trails. These ATV trails are nice and windy through the woods and are just fun trails.

Trail 8 is narrower, so be cautious with a full-sized vehicle. There are a lot of water puddles that are 12-18 inches deep. Watch for the old radio station foundations along the trail. This trail will weave through the woods, crossing over Quarry Road and then over to trail 9.

This is an ATV section that connects trail 3 Blue and trail 7. There are small simple obstacles along the way but the most difficult section of this is at trail 7. There is an off-camber hill with a turn. It is not difficult for a seasoned rider but for a beginner, it could be scary.

This is a play area of sorts. There are hill climbs in the open area. You can take the side trail at the bottom for a rocky washed-out trail exit to trail 3. There are all kinds of rocky washouts to play in, and you can take this trail to 4, 3, 5, or others.

Trail 5 is a network of trails in an area behind the office and off of trail 1. There is a nice mix of terrain and difficulty on these trails. Most are small rocky trails with a little bit of an elevation change. There are some steeper sections with rockier paths.

After trail 5 Black was established, there was a need for an exit before the harder part of it. This trail was created to remove a dead end on the trail 4 side and create an exit for the 5 Black trail. It is an easy trail with just a few small stumps.

This is a rocky trail with obstacles randomly throughout. It is not constant rocks but just enough to consider it challenging. It is a great trail for someone trying to get into blue trails as a nice practice trail. It's also great for adding that small section either starting or ending your day.
