Description
To access the trailhead, drive to the southwest corner of the cemetery and look for a small dirt road. Follow the dirt road to a large open gravel landing; here, you'll see a sign for Pine Mountain Trail. The trail starts by traveling southwest up to the powerlines, then turns right and coincides with Corridor 19 for a short ways. It turns left and coincides with Bear Springs Trail for a ways. Soon, there will be a sign (on the right) for Pine Mountain Trail. The trail turns off the snowmobile grade and changes to a singletrack. It climbs up to a view spur (on the right), then continues on to Chapel Rock. It continues a bit farther to Pine Mountain Connector (on the right), then passes by a few views (on the left). The trail continues to the summit of Pine Mountain, marked by a sign and the base supports of an old firetower.
