The Bradley Farm Trail begins and ends at a kiosk near the northeast corner of the Mount Greylock Visitor Center parking lot in Lanesborough. This easy, self-guided route follows a well-marked path, identified by blue blazes, through the site of the former Bradley family farm. Numbered posts highlight historical and natural features along the way. Hikers pass remnants of stone walls, traces of old orchard clearings, and stands of young forest that illustrate the region’s return to woodland after agricultural use.
The route winds gently over mostly level terrain, with only minor roots and rocks along the path. In winter, it doubles as a cross-country ski trail—hikers and snowshoers should stay to the side of ski tracks. The trail remains open year-round and is suitable for all ages, with leashed pets permitted. Interpretive stops, changing forest scenery, and glimpses toward the Berkshires make this a rewarding, educational walk within Mount Greylock State Reservation.
