Green Tree Nature Trail

The Buffalo Bayou Partnership says that the "Green Tree Nature Area is located just south of Memorial Drive at Waugh Drive. The heavily forested trail is a nature-lover's delight. On any given day, you'll find birds, squirrels, and even a rabbit or two." The approaches to the trail are narrow asphalt which transitions to a natural surface inside the wooded segment. The walking surface is uneven with roots crossing the path and a muddy surface after a rain. Bicycles are not permitted on this trail.
