Description
Hesitation Point Trail is an out-and-back trail that ascends from Aynes Loop to the Hesitation Point Overlook. Users will pass the foundation of a CCC cabin at the base of the climb. A steep climb and technical features like multiple rocky sections, logs, large step-downs, bridges, and tight switchbacks make Hesitation Point a very interesting trail. The challenging climb brings you to the parking area at the overlook. Be sure to snap a few photos here, especially in the fall, before descending again. Hesitation Point connects with the Walnut Trail, which begins at this parking area, just on the other side of West Gate Rd.
