Loop
The first half mile of the trail is a very flat and wide section, making it ADA accessible. After the first half mile section begins the loop section of the trail, where trail indicators will tell you which direction to go. Two bridge crossings in the trail loop, one being a well-built bridge over the creek. You'll traverse a variety of terrains and forest types, some short uphill sections, and one very narrow hillside section shortly after the first bridge crossing. There were two sections of the trail where you'll cross Jackson Creek. The creek beds are supposedly dry enough most of the year, however even in the spring, the water is shallow enough that a quick hop, skip, or a jump will you get you past it without getting too wet. Nothing some good shoes can't handle.
