Start at the White Trail trailhead near dirt Osgood Road and follow the White Trail south through open woods as it gently descends toward its junction with the Cross Minks Trail. At the Y-intersection, turn left and head east on the Cross Minks Trail, traversing mixed forest with stone walls and subtle rises and dips along the Mink Hills. After a moderate stretch, reach the signed junction with the Chandler Trail and turn right, heading south as the trail begins a more sustained climb toward higher ground.
The Chandler Trail ascends steadily through hardwood forest, passing signs of historic land use before intersecting the Woods Walk loop. Follow the Woods Walk through a series of interconnected paths that wind through relatively gentle terrain, cross small drainages, and pass interpretive stations highlighting local ecology and natural history. Complete the Woods Walk loop and continue south to rejoin the Chandler Trail, descending gradually back toward the Cross Minks Trail.
At the next junction, turn left to rejoin the Cross Minks Trail and continue east as it trends downhill toward the eastern edge of the reservation. The trail eventually ends at Bean Road. From here, turn left and follow the road north for a short roadside walk back to the start of the White Trail, completing the route with a mix of wooded hiking and quiet road walking that showcases much of the Chandler Reservation Trail System in one outing.
