This is a lot of fun - but there are some short, hard stretches no matter which direction you're heading!

Description
This trail covers some undulating terrain. A lot of the hills here are just tall enough that you'll have give a little extra to get up them. Some of route finding on this section can be a bit obscure, particularly in spring and fall where there are leaves and debris on the trail hiding the switchbacks, and at all times of year as you come to and cross numerous horse trails and logging roads. On the road crossings, the general strategy is to follow the tracks and look for another entrance along the roadway. The singletrack continues, but sometimes the trails are not perfectly lined up and you can't always see the next section. You can always use the Mobile App to help find your way. Some of the ridgelines seem to offer a natural spine to follow, but this particular route takes some blind hairpins, pay particular attention on the hilltops and keep a lookout for sneaky little turns. Instead of staying on the ridge, you'll make a hard turn and traverse towards the valley drainage.
