The former Eleventh Line nature trail area has now been renamed to the George Christie Nature Trails in recognition of George's passion for the Collingwood Trails and his many years of dedication to their development. Check out the entire area. It is a beautiful wilderness retreat within the town limits and an outstanding location for a peaceful nature stroll or some snowshoeing in the winter months. This route starts out on the Eleventh Line Trail. You'll continue on this flat route for a short ways before reaching an intersection with the Colberry Trail and the Georgian Trail. Take a sharp, sharp right onto the Colberry Trail. The going will remain flat, even as you transition from the Colberry Trail to the Turkey Trail. You'll take a slight right to follow the Turkey Trail. Eventually, the gentle path will meet with the Deer Trail, and taking a final right will lead back to the Eleventh Line Trail, where you can either continue exploring, or return to the parking area.
