Northfield Mountain Trails

Getting to the trail is a bit tricky as you go pass the power distribution center. There are several options however. Once in the trail system, there is plenty of signage! This specific route was part of a COVID virtual challenge but it provides some of the first trailrunproject routes. The eastern part is fantastic singletrack. On the return, we followed the fence line close to the reservoir, instead of the white blazed trail that we took on the way out. This fence line leads back to the wooden reservoir overlook. If not looking for this level of adventure, the white-blazed trail is well marked and leads back to your previous path.
