The Broadview Farm Conservation Area begins from trailheads on Young Road and Cross Road in East Derry. This network of easy footpaths weaves through rolling pasture, shaded woodlands, and the edges of wetland habitat, offering a short, relaxed walk suitable for all skill levels. Trails form interconnected routes that loop through open fields, follow stream corridors, and circle a small pond—ideal for quiet exploration or family outings. Visitors should turn left or right at unsigned junctions to continue exploring the area’s small trail system, eventually returning to the main access point.
This route is well-suited for nature walks, birdwatching, or cross-country skiing in winter conditions. Leashed dogs are welcome, and organized youth groups may reserve the designated camping area, which includes tent platforms, a fire ring, and a dining shelter. Expect some muddy sections after rain, and note that all visitors must pack out their trash. With its mix of open space and easy terrain, Broadview Farm offers a peaceful day hike in southern New Hampshire's town-conserved lands.
