Description
Easy and flat trail through giant redwood forest. The trailhead for this grove is on a pullout near the northern entrance of Avenue of the Giants. Good for family. The giant redwoods leave the trail completely in the shade so this late October. Hike in the morning at 45-50 F feels a lot colder with no sun to warm you, so carry extra layers. I highly recommend this trail for its beauty among the giants and solitude.
