There and Back
This trail starts out with some beautiful short segments through groves of trees and eventually breaks out until you have great views of Cache Valley all around. It continues to gain and lose elevation throughout the course, especially as you reach the mouth of Providence Canyon and Millville Canyon. There are a couple of times that the trail crosses a creek, at Providence Canyon and also between Providence and Millville canyons (but the crossings are covered by the trail, so there is no difficulty in crossing them). This is a beautiful hike in all seasons, but especially in the fall when the scrub maples are turning their different colors and the temperatures are dropping. It's also beautiful in the spring when the wildflowers are blooming all around the trail.
