This trail network begins at either Tetreault Park off Rand Road or Rindge Town Forest via Old Homestead Road, offering multiple access points to explore a combined system of informal trails, old logging roads, and grassy pathways. From Tetreault Park, hikers can follow well-worn paths through upland forest and meadow habitat, with the option to connect into the broader Town Forest network. At unmarked junctions, stay right to keep heading deeper into the property or link up with sections of nearby rail trail. From the Town Forest side, follow the wide trail past a rustic log cabin and continue through mixed hardwood forest and seasonal wetlands. Many trails are unblazed but evident underfoot, so navigation with a map or GPS is recommended.
This area is suitable for casual hikes, family outings, or short nature walks in all seasons. Expect soft footing on packed earth and occasional muddy sections, especially near wetland edges and during spring melt. While the route never gains much elevation, it offers variety in terrain, quiet woods, and frequent bird activity.
