The loop shown has two closures along the northwestern areas: one closure due to erosion, and one closure due to nesting eagles. The alternate walk through the battle is still pleasant. Some federal holidays the Fort Lee Trailhead is closed but you can still go the National Battlefield and start on Attack Road Trail.
