ARPR is a hard to find park, but it has some great ups and downs. There is an overlook pier to get a quick break or that awesome sunset/sunrise photo. This hike incorporates the Perimeter Trail along with the Green Trail to make it a big loop of the park. There is a small boardwalk at the canoe launch point that will lead you to the Perimeter Trail; if you find yourself hiking up the paved road, you didn't go far enough.
The park was started in 2003 at 20 acres with about a mile of trail and has grown to about 50 acres and four trails.
