Wellsville Pond

This is a beautiful pond in Wellsville, Utah, in Cache County. There is a very nice paved walking trail around the entire pond. The trail is about a half mile long. It's a great place to go for an afternoon walk or for a picnic. There is a very large picnic area that can be reserved for families. There are also several individual picnic tables. The pond is in a beautiful area with the Wellsville mountains providing an amazing backdrop. This trail and pond are a great place to view lots of different birds at different times of year. There is a baseball field, play toys, and batting cage here as well. The pond is stocked with lots of fish. I have caught some very large rainbow trout here. There are several fishing decks around the pond. The pond is right in the center of town near the tabernacle. The parking lot is right off of 100 East in Wellsville. This is a really nice place to go for an evening stroll. It's fun to do some quick fishing, or play some catch on the field. I love to see the birds, and other animals. I have seen several muskrats swimming here. This is a great place to take your family for some relaxing fun.
