Chain of Lakes Trail

This trail is shared with ATVs and, by Bitterroot standards, is popular. That means that on a weekend, you might see or at least hear a couple of them. Since this is a shared trail, it isn't is always the most aesthetic, and sometimes hammered, but it's still fun. Once you are out of the trees and on the ridge, the vista is 360 of wonder. The main attraction is hiking the mile down to Fish Lake once you have reached the ridge crest. There is another trail that heads down to and connects Charity Lake, Hope Lake, and Faith Lake.
