This trail starts off a corner of the Summer Club Road and runs northerly to a gate. Pass the gate and hike to a snowmobile junction. Stay straight and to the left to remain on Lamphere Trail. The trail reaches another junction, where Snowmobile Primary 117 (G TB) turns left off the main trail. Taking 117 will bring you to Devil's Rest Shelter. Continue straight and to the right to follow along Rowell's Brook. The trail climbs up to Bald Mountain Notch along the upper banks of Rowell's Brook.
