Description
This concrete trail begins at the corner of Kempwood and Wirt and runs parallel to the powerline. There are at-grade crossings at Bingle and Hollister before the trail ends at Blalock. Several neighborhood connections are available. The Spring Branch Trail is envisioned to link White Oak Bayou to Addicks Reservoir using primarily Centerpoint powerline right-of-way. (See https://sbmd.org/trailsurvey/ for the draft scoping study.) The first phase has been constructed between Wirt and Blalock. The existing Emnora Lane Hike & Bike Trail will be incorporated into the project.
