Description
The Ridge Trail (silver on the map) forms a nice lollipop off Foxfire Trail (which starts at Mallard Lake). After the signs from Foxfire, head across the bridge on Swan Creek, go left at the intersection, and follow along the banks of the creek. After about a third of a mile, you'll come out into a clearing. Skirt along that until you come to the Wabash Connector, dip back into the woods, and join up with the famous North Country Trail. Go right and continue through the woods until you come out along the banks of Swan Creek again, which you'll follow back to Mallard via Foxfire.
