Description
Tucked away across the street from Lambert High School behind the Old Atlanta Rec Center and accessible via Old Atlanta Park, the Old Atlanta Park Nature Trail is a quick and easy way for community residents to jump back into nature without having to travel a significant distance. The park boasts two play areas for the kids, and both are located next to the trail. Bring the kids for a family adventure, walk the dog, or run the trails for a mile or twoathis peaceful community nature area is easily accessible and open to all nature lovers. Blue diamond blazes mark the trail, but frankly it is near impossible to get lost. A number of wooden bridges crossing over small creeks are the trailas main unique feature. Otherwise, just take it easy and enjoy the shade of the trees, the fresh air, and the subtle smells of the forest.
