Chattahoochee Pointe Trail

The Chattahoochee Pointe Trail is an serene, idyllic, 3.2-mile trail that meanders through Chattahoochee Pointe Park. Located next to the Chattahoochee River on land once used as a horse farm, the trail starts off gently weaving through beautiful open meadows separated by classic tree lines. You will soon find yourself walking alongside Dick Creek, and then next to the mighty Chattahoochee River. The trail offers several access points to the River including a canoe launch area, and even some rope swings. A new disc golf course was added to the park in March 2019, and the Chattahoochee Pointe Trail has several access points to the course. Restrooms, two picnic pavilions, and a children's playground area are also easily accessible. Dogs on leash are allowed, as are bicycles. From the parking areas, look just to the east for trail access. The multi-use trail is mostly flat, with different sections of dirt, gravel, and asphalt, and it is easy to hike or runaa great excuse to get outdoors with the kids, or the dog. Local high schools use the trail from time to time for cross-country training and 5K races.
