Schabarum Trail

The bottom portion of this trail along the parking/picnic area is easy. It's a wide doubletrack without anything technical to watch for. However, shortly after you pass the Powder to Schabarum Connector things get a little more challenging. With 10-15% grades and a rut usually running up the center, the middle portion of this trail is intermediate for sure. Once you get up near the radio tower the trail splits. Stay right and the trail stays more or less level as it wanders the hillside below the radio antennae, eventually ending beneath a steel tower and a dirt road. Turn left to access Purple Sage Trail or Skyline Trail.
