Point to Point
From the parking area, follow this trail north as it climbs easily followed singletrack to the top of Kane Mountain, where you'll find a fire tower and an old abandoned cabin. This trail can often be wet and slippery, so in the wintertime it is advised to bring some type of traction aid to help you stay on your feet. Many spots on the trail can see water running down them, so it's a good idea to bring waterproof footwear and gaiters.
Once you reach the top of Kane Mountain, don't expect much of a view from the ground. However, climb the fire tower and you'll find amazing, 360-degree views of the surrounding area and three different lakes.
