Trail Overview

The trail is passable by any high-clearance 4x4 and has lots of motorcycle traffic. It has rock fields, open meadows, dense forest coverage, and a couple of ponds. A windstorm recently knocked hundreds of trees down, which makes for great views and looks at the root system of the trees.

Difficulty

Due to the tremendous amount of moisture in the area, the trail has many mud holes and moguls. There are also a couple of small rock fields, the largest of which was at least 12 inches in diameter.

Trail was very dusty but that’s to be expected in October. Many potholes moguls ruts. The scenery is spectacular especially at freeze out. Lots of fun and lots of cows.

Great trail rough but not bad. Good scenery thru meadows and thru the pines. Great camp spots along the way. Best of all an AWESOME view of the valley below. Another great trail.
