Fantan Lake Road

Contrary to previous reports, the trail is not in the best of shape. Washed out areas with lots of rocks. It may be relatively easy for an ATV/UTV. It's a bit more challenging for a 4x4. The trail should be rated medium difficulty (5/10).

Trail required some good line choice’s. Very doable in a stock 4x4, but you have to pay attention.

Good drive to the lake, parts of the trail had some good size ruts and large pointy boulders. Definitely recommend some form of high clearance vehicle due to the rocks you have to clear. Trail is easy but the rocks could pose a problem to lower vehicle. The lake is worth the drive. Very peaceful and beautiful scenery.
