Trail Overview

Segment 2 of Trail 31 is the perfect go-to for a relaxing afternoon drive and lies between Phipps Fire Lane and Thannum Fire Lane. T-Mobile seems to have good service most of the time, but it's unclear how well other providers work. It is well-marked with signs and poses no threat to the casual offroader. This is a well-maintained, sand and gravel-based trail, fortified with crushed rock in the low spots. There is an abundance of birch lining the trail; combined with a variety of other northern hardwood varieties and pines, it makes a beautiful show in the fall. Probably the most formidable obstacles are a handful of puddles and a bit narrower banked corners--unless you happen to drive it in early spring when the snows are melting in earnest and creating water crossings at a certain low spot. Check with local authorities for current trail regulations.

Says on the app here its open for 4x4. Took my Bronco down it but it did feel like it was allowed.... many atv signs like other trails in the area but it made it. Just tight if someone is coming in the opposite direction.
