Trail Overview
This is Marinette County Trail 5 Intersection 120 to 9, This trail has also been referred to as the F15 Trail, as well as Florence County Trail 6. If riding this trail from south to north, the trail will first traverse some low swamp areas, which in wet conditions, can have up to 12 inches of water standing in spots. Located just off the trail roughly one mile in is the Dunbar ATV park and ride. Continuing north, the trail conditions will stay, very similar to the first portion of this trail--Sandy with the occasional low spot that will have standing water after rain. The scenery on this trail is excellent as it winds through some very picturesque woods. There is also a portion of this trail that runs on Spur Lake Road, where there is the potential for mixed traffic.

Difficulty
This Trail can be enjoyed by riders of all skill levels. Sight lines are okay in most areas, allowing for some visibility of oncoming traffic. The trail is roughly one and a half machine widths wide in its entirety, so caution will need to be taken when passing machines. This trail does have several low spots that will fill with standing water after rain. Average depth ranges from 12". With the trail base being sand these can be easily crossed without much worry of becoming stuck. There are portions of this trail that are open to road-going vehicles, so ride with caution. The trail surface, after extended periods of drought, can get very washboarded out if it has not been groomed recently. Grooming operations also take place daily so be sure to keep an eye out for the groomer.
