Trail Overview

The dog sled drive begins as a smooth, dry trail that gets progressively wetter as you go. There is a flowage/bog section where the water can get quite deep, depending on the time of year and recent rainfall. If you like water, this can be one of the deeper crossings that will test you and your machine. Be advised, ATV access does end before it turns into the winter dog sled track, making this an out-and-back.

Difficulty

The difficulty of this trail is entirely dependent on how deep the main water crossing is. If you hit it in the spring after heavy snowmelt and rainfall, it can be 2-3 feet deep, depending on your line choice. In a dry summer, it will be shallower. Difficulty will move up or down a point based on the water depth.
